The Sectional Title Association Stas (STAS), the voice of the sectional title community, is a registered, volunteer-driven, non-profit entity based in the Strand, Cape Town, committed to improving sectional title living. We offer a platform to help you navigate shared living with confidence. We bring together sectional title schemes, homeowners’ associations and businesses to support apartment blocks and townhouse communities in building vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods. By amplifying the voices of unit owners and encouraging participation from partners, we help shape decisions that reflect the community’s shared vision — fostering a sense of ownership, connection, and pride.

STAS works closely with the following eight key local partners: Helderberg Crime Watch, JPS Trust, SAPS, Strand Business Improvement District (SBID), Strand Neighbourhood Watch, Strand Ratepayers Association, Sub-Council 8 and TVDM Consultants to strengthen community networks. These partnerships equip members to navigate issues related to municipal services, public safety, and shared resources, laying the groundwork for a resilient and well-managed living environment.
